Ficus plant needs moderate light but not in full sun with moderate watering. You should expect a healthy Ficus Tineke to produce a new leaf every four weeks or so. Ficus elastica, also known as Rubber Plants, are native to the rainforest region of South America. The plant earned its unique name from its sap, which is sometimes used to make rubber. Rubber plants symbolize abundance, happiness and wealth.
