Using the flower food packet is crucial for extending the life of your flowers because it contains a balanced blend of sugar to nourish them, acidifiers to regulate the water's pH, and a biocide to get rid of harmful bacteria.

3. Changing the water in the vase is essential as soon as it starts to look cloudy. Dirty water can cause bacterial growth that can quickly lead to wilting. To keep your flowers hydrated and healthy, re-cut the stems every time you change the water, allowing them to absorb more water and increase their lifespan.
